For those of you that regularly visit this blog, I apologize, I have removed previous entries and will be starting from scratch.  I had used this blog as a venting place just to get thoughts and ideas out of my head, but lately it has become worse than that.  People have been hurt and upset by the things that have been said here.  For that I apologize, I cannot apologize for my feelings.  They are what they are, however, the thoughts would not have been placed here had I known you would read them.  You know who you are, again I am sorry.

Now back to the details

Jacob's behavior is becoming erratic again, his eyes fluctuate between pale hues and bright bold differences.  He has one green and one blue, we never noticed prior to his seizures, but cannot say that it happened with his seizures.  I do know that often times the bright, bold green and blue indicate seizure activity.  No other outward appearances, just a father's feelings.  His behavior is off, and his eyes are wrong, next will be angry outbursts.  We'll see, hope that I am wrong.

Derek is still not truly recovered from his surgery.  It is unfortunate that he keeps things so bottled up inside.  He gets angry with me for questioning him, but something is bothering him.  Has been since Thanksgiving.  You can catch it if you watch him.  I think that his weight issues and feeding tube issues and all other problems are piling up.  How do you explain this to a 9 year old that doesn't talk about it.  Well, guess it will play out eventually.

Braden will not eat anything worthwhile.  We cook supper, spend 15 minutes of him screaming and yelling at us that he hates whatever food it is, then we send him to bed without supper.  You would think that he would eventually get hungry, but this is the kid that spent the first several years of his life not eating at all, just drinking milk.

Cathy's vanity is starting to come together, had some tool issues, some operator error, and I will have to go buy some additional wood pieces.  Thank goodness for Lowe's gift cards.  Her entire vanity will be made up of pieces purchased with the cards.  It is over 6 feet long, will be completely built in to the alcove area.  There are six drawers, a drop through trash chute so that she won't have to reach underneath her to throw away trash.  I have wired an outlet to the center for her mirror and hair dryer.  I need to build and mount the drawers, cut out the hole for the trash chute and a grommet hole for power cords.  We are going to stain it Red Mahogany to match the headboard that I built for her.

As you can tell, I enjoy the woodworking, it is usually a great distraction from everything else.  I am not a naturally talented woodworker, so I have to focus on what I am doing and nothing else.  It is a great hobby, I think that I would like it even better if my skin didn't react to contact with wood.  It is a small price to pay for something that I enjoy, plus my epi-pen is never far away.
